ALTAWA SYMPOSIUM 27TH MARCH 2021

We are delighted to announce the participation of the Arabic Language Teachers’ Association in the Modern Language Teachers’ Association’s State conference on the 26 and 27th March 2021.

 

This is a great opportunity for Arabic language teachers to come together to engage in discussion with a range of experts on a variety of topics relating to language learning and teaching, current pedagogy and discover the latest research findings in second language acquisition.

 

We are excited at the opportunity to bring to you the following speakers and special guests at the ALTAWA symposium on Saturday 27th March 2021.

  1. Nadia Selim: Arabic Language Researcher, University of Adelaide.

  2. Dr Moayad Abdul Rahman: Head of Department [Australian Islamic College] and accomplished calligrapher. Dr Moayad will be conducting ‘An Introduction to Calligraphy Workshop’.

  3. Majida Ali [Head of Department – ARABIC], East Preston Islamic College, Melbourne. [Zoom], ‘My Arabic Teaching Journey’.
